Spring Election, April 2008
Spring Election will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2008, for Oshkosh Common Council, Oshkosh Area School Board, all 36 Winnebago County Board Supervisors (two-year terms), and WI Supreme Court Justice.
Register to Vote
A U.S. Citizen over age 18, who has resided in an election district or ward for 10 days prior to the election and who is not registered in any other location or otherwise disqualified, is eligible to vote.
To register to vote in the City of Oshkosh, you may:
1. Request a form from the City Clerk, 215 Church Ave., Oshkosh WI 54901, and mail it before 5:00 pm on the 13th day before the election.
2. Register in person at the City Clerk's Office before 5:00 pm on the day before the election. You must bring proof that you have lived at your present location for 10 days preceding the election.
3. Register at the polling place on election day. You must bring valid WI driver's license or I.D. that states current address.

To register to vote in the Towns of Algoma, Oshkosh, Black Wolf, Nekimi, and Vinland, contact the Winnebago County Clerk at 236-4888 for specific contact information for your municipality. All voters in the State of Wisconsin must now register to vote.
